Same as old (joking)
oh a trooper, those are rare here.

if you lost them ,
i measure the hole, in the starter, 8.5mm? a wild guess.

could be 10 or 12mm and is easy as heck to measure, that.

Id have gone to the store and got (my measured size)
both pitch sizes, in 8mm(guess) , and tried them. 1 will fit.

if you have the nuts still (you never said)
then use a pitch guage. $1 tool.
then the diameter ,yes, use a $1 mm rule. and read it.
now you have pitch and diameter, that leaves lenght
and id bet you can do that easy now. (the ruler)

What are the size of the bolts that go on a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo starter

The size of the bolts that go on the starter of a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo will depend on the model of starter you are using. In general, most starters use bolts that are M6, M8, or M10 in size.
To determine the size of the bolts you need, you will need to refer to the manufacturer's specifications for your particular starter. You can usually find this information in the documentation that came with the starter, or by contacting the manufacturer.
It is also important to note that the starter bolts may not be the same size as the original bolts that came with the vehicle. If you are replacing the starter, make sure to use the correct size bolts as specified by the manufacturer of the starter. Using the wrong size bolts could result in damage to the starter or the vehicle.

What is the torque spec for the starter bolts on a 1997 nissan D21 pickup?

torque chart-undefined-undefined-0.jpg This is a bolt size torque chart. The size of bolt is the threaded shaft. Might give you an idea. I don't have torque spec for your starter bolts, Some places on vehicle, it's hard to use a torque wrench, not enough room. on starter bolts, I usually just snug them up real good. Might not be the proper way? good luck

How to remove the starter motor as it looks impossible to ge to the nuts to my old Ford Transit ,are there special tools .I don't want to make any small holes to have to remove it

    disconnect battery negertive terminal
undo and remove the 10mm (spanner size) nut and disconnect the solenoid wire

undo and remove the 13mm (spanner size) nut and disconnect the main starter lead and the alternator wiring

undo and remove the 13mm (spanner size) bolt through the lower mounting point on the starter, this has an earth lead on it, push the lead to one side

undo the top starter bolt (same as lower bolt) and remove the starter from the engine. The top bolt can't be removed from the starter with it in place, and it can't be fitted after you've put the motor back either so don't forget it!

Starter Bolt Size

you can buy them at autozone, they may even know what size you need. usually starter bolts are the same size and in some cases just the length is different. simply try the one you have in the other hole and if it works then problem solved on the size but the length may still be different.
