Question about Lincoln Town Car
Hi Cleve, No one can replace a loved one. I can only guess at the emptiness that seems to surround you and how much your loss has meant to you but realise that life is what is happening to you now. Life is reality and is happening all around right now. Your partner would not have wanted you to waste your life existing within an unchangeable past. No one and nothing can change what has happened. We appreciate the reason for your warning and understand it. It was not very many years passed that vehicles did not have air bags. I think one way you can do something and let it be named for the memory of your partner, is becoming involved in some way, teaching road safety to others, especially to youngsters just starting to drive. God bless, take care best regards John

I think that a scanner can clear the DTC (diagnostic trouble code).
It seems to me that if a problem is detected that the light will stay on to alert the driver until cleared.
General Information The supplemental restraint system was designed to provide increased protection in case of an accident for those in the front seat of the car, when used along with the safety belt system. The system MUST be disarmed before any work is performed on or around the supplemental air bag system. The system is an electronically controlled, mechanically operated system. The system contains two basic subsystems: the driver's side air bag module assembly and the passenger side air bag assembly, and the electrical system that connects them. The system consists of:

SOURCE: Hi i had an accident
It all depends on the speed you hit tree. BMW can scan computer and track back any faults. Hopefully SRS/check engine light wasn't lit when you were involved in accident.
