This will most likely result in you seeing your local dealership. They usually end up reprogramming the engine computer (ECU).It takes a certain diagnostic scanner to perform this task. And usually a dealership or other high end shop can do this. Not a job for the back yard mechanic.

SOURCE: alarm fob stopped working on rover sterling how do i bypass the immobilizer to start the car

inside your key fop were the battery fits there is three soldered points
just check they are connected properly if not just re-solder the connection i had the same fault on my rover 400 and that sorted it. if you are not sure about the connections being soldered correctly fold a small amount of paper and put it on top of your battery holder and refit your fop and then try it that should work just as well.

Fuel injections problems. My 2004 Ford Mustang stopped running while driving it. I changed the fuel pump and it still wouldn't start. It makes like it wants to start but it doesn't. Anything else I could...

Fords usually have have a fuel pressure test port on the fuel rail, having a fuel pressure test gauge is needed because a failing pump can still deliver fuel to the rail but not at the specified pressure so simply pressing the valve to see if fuel is present may tell you something but not answer the question plus it can be dangerous to expell fuel on the engine due to possible fire hazard, that would be step one.Do you have spark and injector signal and is your check engine light on?You probably going to need some diagnostic tools,It might be cheaper to pay a shop than to throw parts at it until it runs..Do you have access to tools?

Whenever i try to cut it on it sounds like its going to cut on but it doesn't. A message appears and says that car is immobilizing see manual

It sounds like you have an issue with your key. It is not communicating properly with the car's security system, thus it sees you as an auto thief.

Immobilizers have a radio frequency transmitter that goes on your keychain. The sensor that is in the dashboard or somewhere near the ignition detects the unique frequency of the transmitter in order to allow the car to run.

For example, a car with an electronically powered fuel pump (which is likely fuel injected) can be easily immobilized if the power relay to the fuel pumps operation is intervened from the immobilizer system. A fuel injected car with an immobilizer circuit would typically disable the fuel pump, fuel injection control, as well as the ignition circuit.

I dont know where to hook up immobileizer bypass wire

An immobilizer bypass is an electrical circuit which allows current to flow to whatever component is starved of current to keep the engine from running (usually the coil). The immobilizer opens the circuit to the coil, the immobilizer bypass closes the circuit to the coil.

If you didn't install an immobilizer circuit, then you don't need the bypass. There are probably instructions you missed in the manual explaining the immobilizer circuit.

Automatic engine immobilizer wo'nt reset

The immobilizer does not "lock" the ignition, it does not energize the fuel injection relay. What you have is a "locked" steering column. Put the key in the ignition, and pull/turn the steering wheel HARD left or right, whilst turning the key to on or start. Do BOTH at the same time. The action of you pulling on the steering wheel will unlock the steering column.
