Oil filter where is the oil filter located on a 94 honda passport 6 cyl? please help

Not familar with your exact transmission, but most have more than one shift solenoid. These are usually easy to access once trans bottom pan is removed.

gearbox fault may be oil related.
Try changing gear box oil and filters.

if you have the 4 cyl they are located on the belt cover and the mark is on the drive pully, if you have a 6 cyl. the marks are on the block behind the belt cover, but the timing is set at TDC and is not adjustable.

you should be running 5-30wgt oil in car,

its under air filter box, 1st remove this box for better work the gas filter is an metal bottle like a soda

It probably uses a sensor instead of a cable to register speed. Realistically speaking the vehicle needs to go to a qualified repair shop with the proper diagnostic tool to determine what component is not functioning. Perhaps you can buy and install the part yourself. Most vehicles need to be diagnosed on an electronic tester.
