A 2006 does not have points. Probably your ignition coil and I believe (not positive) that Nissan has two of them. Pull one of your spark plugs but leave it hooked up to the plug wire and hold it close to a metal bolt or the engine block (1/8 inch) and then get someone to turn over the engine for 5 or 6 seconds. You should see the plug send a spark to the metal . Make sure you hold the plug with a dry, clean rag so you don't get zapped. If no spark that's probably a faulty ignition coil.

Check for spark to the spark plugs during the no start period. If you do not have spark the crank sensor in the distributor is a common failure in these.

How do I set tappets on Nissan 1400

With a special tool called a feeler gauge remove the valve covers and one by one bring the cylinders up to top dead center (both valves are fully closed at this point) adjust to factory spec. All adjustments are done cold. If engine is very high miles reduce the clearances in specs by slight amount (.002") to the tight side to account for wear in the valve train parts.

What's your question? My nissan 1400 does not start but i does have a spark in points on distributer and no final spark on spark plugs, cn t b the distributer o ignition coil?

If the points are firing that is the low voltage side that tells the coil when to release its stored energy. if no spark to plugs that is secondary high voltage side and the coil is not storing sufficient energy the spark the plugs

Did you check your spark plugs take them out and measure the gap on the point, if that does not fix the problem test your starter by turning on the car and pushing a screwdriver between the two points on your start hen you will hear if there is power or not if not it is your battery
