I don't know for sure but see if this helps, 2 places other than under the hood. open sliding door and see if there is a battery compartment there, you may have to peel back the matting. secondly, look behind the front wheels and see if there is a slide tray that you unscrew to pull out the battery from its housing, hope this helps, good luck.

Where is the engine ecm located on a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L

Rebecca, first thank you for providing year engine size and the fact that it's a flex fuel van. Your ECM [engine control module or engine computer] is located right in front of the battery. This is an INCREDIBLY stupid place to put it [not to mention placing the fuse/relay box just outboard of the battery on this van] It is critical to keep the battery clean on this van, as any build up of dried battery acid will make it's way into the ECM and/or the fuse/relay box. The acid will do all sorts on nasty damage to these parts. They should shoot the idiot who designed the electrical system on these vans. FYI, I'm a professional mechanic with 40 years experience. Alternator? Van has been draining batteries and now wont start

Jump start your van, with a volt meter check voltage at battery with engine running and jumper cable disconnected, you will be checking alternator out put voltage there, should have a reading of not less then 13.5 volt's, if less replace alternator, alternator is not hard to replace. two or three bolts is all that holds it in place, don't forget to disconnect battery before removing alternator.

I nedd to replace the starter on a 2004 Dodge Caravan. I don't know where it is located or how to go about it.

The started is located on the back side of engine (firewall side) next to the transmission bellhousing. To remove starter first disconnect the negative battery wire from battery.Raise the front of van up and use jackstands to support the van, block the rear tires. From under the van remove the solenoid wire from starter. Remove bolts from starter and remove starter from van. Installation is the reverse the removal. Hope this will help.

1994 2500 dodge van won't start with a fully charged battery, wonder if trouble is in the solinoid, and where is it located on van

The starter relay should be located on the drivers side firewall in the engine compartment. It is a small square relay, 2"x 2" (approx.) with 3 or 4 wires connected to it.

How do I install a new starter in a 93 Dodge Ram van B-250 8 cyl.

Park van so that you can safely access the starter. I use ramps under front wheels and put it in park and set the parking brakes. Disconnect positive battery cable at battery, disconnect starter battery cable and ignition wires from starter solenoid (remember terminal locations as these will attach to new starter solenoid). Remove old starter. Replace with new starter. Re-attach wiring in reverse order.
