120i key fob won't stay in ignition.

Put a piece of tape on one side of it. Other option is to replace the switch and maybe the key also.

Where is the oil dipstick located?

Check your owner's manual. In my 2007 BMW X3 , there is no dipstick but the oil is checked electronically on the dashboard. I think it's kind of stupidly complex, but many people don't know how to open the hood, I guess!

You can try to reset / recalibrate the accelerator pedal sensor at a bmw indy shop.
If this does not help the accelerator pedal sensor may need cleaning or replacement.

Hope it helps

I have a 120i series. It had this "flat spot" on acceleration just as you take off from stand still. BMW says it the software. Please advice.

the electronic throttle may need retunning as they do.............. not an issue just needs to be pluged in to pc at dealer, but that should be free as the age of the car, or any genuine garage, that has the correct software for your car, takes a few minutes

Handbrake and Traction control warning lights illuminated amber

Had DTC warning light come on on my 120i (2005 reg). Without prompting dealer contacted BMW who agreed to pay for part and half the labour as it seems to be a common problem for 04-06 models.

Hi. I own a bmw 1 series wgich is 3.5 yrs old and less than 35000 driven. Some warning light came up on my dash board and i went to a BMW dealer only to find out that the hydraulics of my car had failed...

I would take the car to a private garage and have them check out this problem. If it is a BMW fault then you should not have to pay for anything.if Its a manifacture fault.
