-   My engine reved up while at a light. Even with my foot on the brake, I plowed into the Range Rover ahead of me. It was fixed by BMW last May. The engine just did the same thing today. Luckily, the car was in park. Does anyone know what I can check to solve this problem? BMW says it doesn't really happen. Thanks-   goyanow

Replace the Throttle Position Sensor.
