SOURCE: 99 dodge ram interior lights wont come on

I had the same problem and could not understand why I THOUGHT I checked all the fuses, but there is a fuse on the drivers side which is covered by a black thing (no idea why). It is listed as IOD or something. If you lift the black thing up and remove the fuse you will notice it is blown. Replace this and all will be well again.

SOURCE: How do I access headlight bulbs on a 2009 Dodge

I hope describes correctly the detail procedures for replacing 2009 Dodge RAM 1500 Headlight Bulb.

- First, open the hood; Disconnect the negative battery cable;
- Remove the four grille attachment bolts;
- Remove the grille;
- Remove the two headlamp assembly attachment bolts;
- Then reach into the front wheel house ahead of the front wheel to unsnap and lift the cover over the access hole in the front of the wheel house splash shield.
- Access to the bulb retainer can be gained through the wheel liner hole (see picture).

After that reach through the access hole to access the rear lamp retainer and remove headlamp assembly (see below picture).

SOURCE: 2001 Ram 3500 Truck: replacing powersteering pump on 1999 dodge 1 ton 3...

it is best to remove the pwr st. pump and vaccum pump assy as a unit which is held to the front cover w/2 15mm head bolt and a support bracket on the bottom bolt next to the block @ the pwr st pump. and disconnect all lines. get the seal kit and replace them @ this time. if you don't and just replace the pump you will probably develop an oil leak where the shaft meshes w/ the adapter.

How can u tell which bulb is high or low in headlight (looking for a diagram)

you don't need a diagram. each bulb is high and low beam all in one. if you have either high or low beam out replace the bulb and it will be working again. again there is only one bulb per headlight.

Only on the passenger side, the headlight keeps blowing out, and i have replaced the bulb like 5 times within the past year, what else could be wrong with it? and how much would it be to fix it?

are you touching the glass on the bulb with your hands?the oil on your skin will pop the bulb ,look to see if any moisture is getting at the bulb

Problem with Replacement Headlights

Sounds like you need to contact the people whom you got them from and see what they say. Sometimes those weird euro headlights don't function correctly. You have the same plug, but now you have 2 bulbs instead of 1 drawing juice from the same source. When you double the load, but keep the source the same, you will have problems.

Low beam not work !!

replace the headlight bulbs. Usually when the bulbs blow out the low beam blows out first, but the high beams still work. If you want and need both low and high beams to work then replace the headlight bulbs with brand new ones and I garauntee that both low and high beams will work
