Sounds like you need a fuel pump. You can try to beat on the bottom of the tank and then trying to start it. Sometimes a slight smack in the tank will temporarily get the pump going again.

most common problem with these civics are the rotor and ignitor. i would reccommend starting with a new dist cap, rotor, and ignitor.

SOURCE: illustrations of removal of power steering pump on

Here is a good link. Check out the video. Changing the pump is a pretty simple task, especially if you bought the pump with a new pulley. If you only have the pump you will need a pulley removal/installation tool. Check your belts to see if they need replacing because now would be a good time to do it since they have to come off to take off the power steering pump.

Replace VTEC Oil Pressure Switch for DTC P2646, P2647

NOTE: This article applies to '03-05 Accord L4s, '03-05 Elements, and '02-05 CR-Vs.

Got a vehicle in your shop with either of these DTCs?
• DTC P2646 (VTEC oil pressure switch circuit low voltage)
• DTC P2647 (VTEC oil pressure switch circuit high voltage)

Replacing the VTEC oil pressure switch (P/N 37250-PNE-G01, H/C 6737217) usually fixes the problem. If it doesn't, then press on with normal troubleshooting.

What dose main pickup sensor do on a 1991 honda accord lx

if you feel savvy enough, check to see if it produces spark and also check if the fuel pump is working. If no spark usually a problem in the distributor. if no fuel coming out of the fuel line, maybe bad fuel pump. need to check if pump is not working.

Look at the crank Position Sensor and the Cam Sensor as well as check the Timing belt for proper operation, if there is a slack of any type in the timing belt the tension device isn't working properly and is the cause of the problem.

Honda accord incorrect gear ratio code p0370

Honda P0370 - Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Malfunction.

The optical sensor provides a high resolution signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) by counting pulses on the sensor disk located in the injection pump. The high resolution is one of the most important inputs by the PCM for fuel control and timing. This test monitors the number of high resolution pulses which have been missed (not detected). It's based on a comparison between the number of pulses that were detected since the last pump cam pulse and the number of the pulses that should have occurred. There are approximately 64 high resolution pulses for every cam pulse.

Possible Causes:
- Open or short in the optical sensor circuit
- Optical sensor connector
- Damaged optical sensor
- Damaged PCM
- Damaged ECM

Possible Solutions:
- If damaged repair the optical sensor circuit
- Replace optical sensor
- Replace PCM
- Replace ECM

Not sure where you got incorrect gear ratio. This P0370 DTC is for what I have listed above.

94 Honda Accord EX 2.2 YECH replaced head, now no fuel pump or fire to plugs. Pump works manually. distributor passes all test form manual . Replaced main relay and still have no power on blk/yel input...

Did you paint the spark-plugs? Not Good!
Run wire from negative to engine or from engine to the body.
You may have placed the timing onto the Exhaust stroke rather than the compression stroke if you moved the engine or you didn't have the timing set properly during assembly - perhaps to the wrong notch on the cam-shaft.
Always spin engine by hand several times with spark-plugs removed to ensure that nothing binds.
If you removed the oil pump = you may have to prime it as there may be a low oil-pressure cut-off!
Crank-shaft sensor is one other possibility?
Bad Cam-sensor will only make it harder on fuel.
Best I can do for now.
Good luck.

Sounds like the ignitor in the distributor has gone bad. The cheaper way out is just buying a good used distributor from the bone yard. I've had this same problem several times on these Hondas.
