Question about Ford Escape
Ford 2006 Escape speratically wont start in park, sometimes in neutral. If I wiggle the wire in the neutral safety switch located on top of the transmition and it will start. Should I replace the switch?
Could be just bad conection if works hevery time you wiggle the wire the switch is ok just check the conection

The park / neutral switch is on top of the transmission. It has a 2 wire connector. the wire colors are pink and orange/black. Tech jk

OK then the switch is part of the gear selector switch on the side of the trans where the shift linkage hooks up. here is a picture and part number.

Typically the Neutral Safety Switches are located with the gear selector, either in the column or the floor.

Have the neutral safety switch checked and the connector to it may have come loose if all is well replace switch
