SOURCE: trans shifts late 1993 nissan 300zx TPS code no

This car is nearing transmission failure. Get this car to a reputable shop right away for proper diagnosis; it could be anything from a plugged filter to an electrical failure. Either one can kill the transmission, but there is a chance that the transmission's proper function can be restored if looked after immediately.

New fuel pump and relay still wont start , spray a little fule down throught starts then dies

Hi Patrick,

The only thing I can tell you is that it sounds like you have narrowed the problem down to either a FUEL DELIVERY problem or a FUEL INJECTION problem (since it starts by spraying fuel in the intake).

You need to check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail to eliminate the fuel delivery system, (This should have been done before replacing the fuel pump and/or relay.)

If the fuel pressure is within specifications, then you need to diagnose your fuel injection system.

1988 300zx non turbo 2+2 need to change fuel filter don't know where to locate it on vehicle. warning.. female operator :-)

It is under the hood, on the passenger side, on the side of the strut tower, mounted in fuel line hose. If you are having a hard time finding it trace your gas line back from your injection rail/throttle body and you will run right into it, can't miss it.

How to remove a 1989 nissan 300zx starter

Changing StarterIts easy, jack the car up, secure the car with in the up position do not just rely on the jack to hold it up and you will see the starter on the passenger side of the car, its held on with 2 bolts. Disconnect the battery first, then loosen and remove the 2 bolts holding the starter in place. Slide the starter out, disconnect the wires coming from the battery. Reverse the procedure to replace the starter.

How to check fuel pressure regulator 1990 300zx na

Multi point injection systems run at about 45-55 psi. When the key is turned on,engine off, fuel pump will run for a short time to prime the fuel rail. At this time the tester should read normal pressure or a little higher.

You need to use a pressure gauge and run it in-line with the fuel lines. Pop the hood and look to the left. Just above where the strut mounts you will see a round silver filter. You need to remove the fuel line there and place your pressure gauge in line of that.

Let me know if you need any more help.
