SOURCE: WIRING HARNESS FOR 2001 GMC JIMMY

Unfortuantely, there is not a plug in wiring harness for this vehicle. You will have to splice in a 4-Flat Plug. No converter box is needed since it's a standard 2-wire system. You can view this part if you click here.

White - Ground
Yellow - Left Turn
Green - Right Turn
Brown - Running Lights

Now, this is only to wire you to a 4-flat. If you need a bigger plug like a 6-way or 7-way, there are adapters. You can view these if you click here.

If you are going to install a brake controller also, you will need another wiring kit that includes a circuit breaker and wire. You can view this here.

Hope this helps!

All of the power locks and power windows are directly ties into the "Integration Relay". This is the large white box behind the fuse panel under the dash. There are 2 different Integration relays, one with electric windows, and one without them. You may need to change the integration relay, also.

I have put a hitch on my 2001 Ram 3500 now I would like to hook up my electric for a flat 4 way plug

They sell a pre-made T that you just unplug your existing wiring and plug in the T. The T has the flat plug on the end of it. Very easy, and don't have to worry about splicing. It just plugs right in.

Where is the turn signal fuse on a 2001 Dodge 3500 diesel truck? I changed the flasher and that didn't fix the problem of no turn signals or four way flashers.

This problem sounds like one I have faced several times on my 2001 diesel Dodge. The culprit has been a fuse under the hood in the fuse panel on the driver's side, up near the steering column. Look through the clear top of the fuses you see, chances are excellent that you will find a green one with the little electrode "popped". This is common when you plug a round trailer plug in upside down, or otherwise ground a powered circuit for the lights through the trailer plug. Simply pull and replace, I keep a couple spares in the glove box because of this problem. Also, if you use the truck to go to the auto parts store, keep in mind that you have no brake lights either. Hope this works for you.

2001 Dodge 3500 5.9L engine. Coughs, Sputters and back fires when accelerating at low speed. Intermittent. Have changed all the sensors to no avail....

It's a sensor crazy world, but i'm guessing your problem is caused by something more simple. Spark plug wires, or a partially clogged fuel filter. If that doesn't solve it, check the EGR, and check for vacuum leaks . Broken , cracked or loose vacuum lines.

2001 dodge 3500 started ran 5 minutes went dead now will not start. bled injector lines and fuel was present. changed filter no luck

Check your fuses in the cab & under the hood. Make sure there's power to the glow plugs. I'm assuming it's Diesel, based on the bleeding.
