Very simple. Just bleed system when done and make sure to remove the brake fluid cap before pressing in the caliper pistion. Good luck

My front brakes squeak, I replaced the pads but the squeak is still there. These have squeaked for a long time?

There is an ongoing problem with squeaking front brakes on dodge rams and charger rt.From 2000 up to present Ihave been told dodge used cheap pads and rotors on a lot of there cars and trucks.I own a 2008 charger rt with 40000 miles and changed brake pads and rotors twice and they still squeak.i herd only remedy is to buy upgraded pads and rotors but these are much more expensive then stock parts. For now i am putting up with squeak till i get the extra money to get rid of noise.the brakes wont fail they just squeak.(I know very annoying)for now i just turn up radio a little louder LoL.But until dodge admits there using cheap ???? parts complaining to dealer didnt help.Good luck. PS A friend of mine put on slotted rotors and expensive pads and yes the still squeak. So mabye it has somthing to do with calipers but again dodge wont admit this.

Repeated warping of front brake rotors. Have replace rotors 3 times with both Chrysler OEM and aftermarket. Replace calipers, ceramic pads, etc. Still warps rotors in less than 5000 miles.

do you do a lot of hills work?if so use the gears ,ifdown hill not the brakes if it is auto then slip it down i gear . make sure your rear brakes are adjusted regularly, but for the main part i would think it is the driver that is the problem, you may get an occasional faulty rotor but not three sets, over heating is the cause of your problem.dont missunderstand me chrysler brakes arent anything special but they arenot that bad , slow down

Rear brakes (driver-side) squeal after replacing rotors and pads

you need to grease the metal clips at the top and bottom of the pads (dont get grease on the rotor or pad though) and also spray some "disc brake quiet" on the back of the pads. it comes in a red can and the spray that comes out is like sticky red paint. do those 2 things and the squeals will be gone.

Cannot remove rear rotor

you can also spray a good amount of W-4 or any kind of rust solvent where the disc sits on the hub. Let it stay for a while make sure it is soaked, make sure the car is in Neutral not in park!! What you would want to do then is hammer with a 4LBS plastic mallet from the inside out of the rotor by rotating it in three to four different positions. Repeat this process a couple of times and it will come off. Make sure there is no locking washer on the wheel bolts, if so you will have to cut them off. Trust me i just changed mine two weeks ago and it worked fine!
