If I remember rightly you turn the door key once
this unlocks the driver door
Turn a little further to unlock the passenger door and fuel cap
On the Zafira you could then remove the key and press the "open"
logo.
Failing this I suggest you open Youtube and search for Corsa fuel cap.
Always a good source for this type of problem
first test the bulb. Use a multimeter to test the bulb. http://youtu.be/f7ltMwaKx2I If that checks out ok, then take the dome assembly off and check for power at the wiring harness while the doors are open and or the switch is on located on the dash. If you do not get power it means it can be the switch in the dash or a faulty component that causes an open door to turn them on.
The ignition system is controlled by the ECM. Check power at fuse box in on right side under dash. Check fuses right side engine compartmentlower dash panel if all OK check power to ECM located right side "A" pillar in alloy box. this unit could be faulty if no spark at coils, assuming they have been connected correctly. may have to get tested for codes at L/R dealer or someone with test tool. Another source of problem may well be flat battery in transponder key. The indicator light on the dash willflash rapidly for 10 seconds if the vehicle has been unlocked with the remote and the drivers door is opened if the battery in remote is getting low
The system uses a blend door to direct air thru the vents. Your car uses an electric motor to open and close the doors. They are in the HVAC box under the dash.
the door opens, it turns on the dome light, so the wire that goes from the door switch gets powered up and makes your dome light come on. if your door is closed, and you turn on the dome light, the same wire gets power and is actually sending power to your light bulb on the dash. just ignore it , or get a diode and put it on the correct wire, and it wont allow the electricity to flow back towards the light bulb when you put the dome light on.
The door sensor needs adjusting. It may be loose.
Loosen the lock nut on the pushbutton sensor in the door frame.
Unscrew the sensor a little and re-tighten the lock nut.
I suspecft this is a security programming situation. I have something similar going on with my '95. I have to get an owners manual to find the sequences. I stumbled into this by manually locking the front door and turning on the key with the door open.
re: the dash lights. I find if I have the interior light dimmer all the way to the right it locks out some things but moving it back to the middle puts it back in operational mode. aside from the flashing, non playing stero. At least I can drive it and powerlock the doors IF the doors are closed.
