Where is the air ride switch in a 2000 mercury mountaineer. I dont see it in the back left panel

Need a diagram for blinker relay on 2000 mountaineer

It is under the dash to the left side of the fuse panel, remove the panel under the steering wheel for better access to it. Below is a picture of it, color may vary.

Will not fire up.could it be spark plug. if not what would you think

Check a part called an "Inertia Switch". This is a protection device which cuts the power to the fuel pump. The location of this switch varies. It can be behind a panel in the rear Cargo area next to the Air-ride switch and others are around the front floor kick panels.

Web search for your model and year and check out parts sites for photos of the Inertia switch. It has a reset switch which only needs to be pressed.

2000 Mercury Mountaineer rear liftgate handle is broken, how can I open it?

either crawl into back or if u have split gate where window opens u have to remove the little plastic access cover {on rear panel}and in the hole push against the rod to open ...once opened u can remove the rear panel and lube and or repair the clips that actuate the lock and release rods

You have a faulty Brake Light Switch, and it is stuck on.

Replace your brakelight switch. Until you replace it, you could pull the breaker out of the fuse panel in order to keep your battery from dying.

Heater quit working on my Mercury Mountaineer 2000. Looking for instructions on how to replace, as we are doing it by ourselves. Already have the part. Anyone have step by step instructions?

you need to be specific on what component of the heater system are you changing then maybe i can help on this matter (e.g.) water pump ,heater core,thermostat,heater control switch,1 way suction valves,vacuum lines, i dont know what you are asking for help on?

I need a to no wher the fuse on a mecury mountaineer 2000 for the cigarett lighter i need it for my tom tom

the fuse box is under the left side of the instrument panel.there should be a legend on the cover.look for a 25A fuse,clear colored plastic. lighter receptacles do wear out,replacements can be purchased at auto parts or department stores

Code to unlock my 2000 mountaineer

Looking at the rear of the vehicle, remove the left side interior panel. You'll need a mirror and a flashlight, but the combination can be read there. It's how the dealer found mine when I bought it used.

Need to loosen the belt on my mountaineer

1.Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
2.Use the drive belt tensioner pulley bolt and rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise.
