2008 saturn aura stereo not working

Well it is obvious that the radio has a failed circuit board and the noise (electrical) that it creates is triggering mute. You will need to remove the radio and send it in for repair to an authorized GM electronics repair center, If you click this LINK it will take you to a on line GM radio repair business, call them.

How to replace 2002 radio light pont bonnieville and part number

Hello
I have repaired these burnt out display bulbs (3 of them) in GM Delco radio's, it is not a simple repair by any means, the radio must be removed from the car and then the radio chassis taken apart, the very tiny bulbs (size of a pencil point) are soldered to the front of the radio's main circuit board for the display, this job requires special pin point cordless low heat solder gun and a printed circuit board solder removal vacuum, The GM dealer does not service these bulbs, all they will do is remove the radio and send it out for repair to a GM radio repair center, if you do wish to attempt the replacement of the display bulbs they are a 12 volt 60ma, you will need 3 for the display, you can buy them from Radio Shack, the Radio Shack part # is #7219. You can also remove the Radio and send it in yourself for replacement of the display bulbs, this is what I recommend, if you damage the circuit board by applying to much heat the radio is so much junk.

Radio display quit wroking on my ford 1998 ranger

The display illumination is not serviced separately on this radio. I recommend taking it to the dealer, they have access to radio repair facilities that can repair the display or exchange the radio.

The stereo and radio panel in my 2003 Vibe went blank, could this be a fuse problem?

this is a common problem. to repair, the radio must be removed. if you are handy with electronics repair, you can remove the faceplate and circuit boards and solder in new lights, other wise take the radio to an electronics repair shop, usually around $100 repair i believe.

internal lights in the radio, call your local stereo shop & asked them if they can send your radio out for repair. It may cost less just to let them replace the radio then a repair.

Radio is on, but no sound. 2003 Olds Silhouette.

I had avery similar problem with my radio. At first I would lose audio but it would eventually come back. Then I lost it for good. I replace the radio and that work for a bit and then replaced the speakers and they worked for a bit. Eventually no audio. I took the radio and speakers back to the tech who installed them and he found a short in the speaker wiring to the passenger speakers. He installed a jumper around the short and the new radio and speakers worked fine. Then I had him put in the original raidio and speakers and have had audio ever since.

I flooded my Eclipse and the AMP is under the passenger seat. Might have got wet and ruined it. They are expensive from the dealership ($900). Try a junk yard.
