Directions on how to replace fog ligt bulbs on a 2008 elantra

  1. You may have to jack up the front end of the car to be able to slide under the vehicle a bit or if your arms are long enough you should be able to reach underneath the vehicle and feel for the connector.
  2. So now you see the connector simply give a turn counterclockwise and it will come loose.
  3. Now pull the bulb assembly out.
  4. The fog lamp will pull strait out of the connector.
  5. Replace with a new 9006 bulb.
  6. Now put the bulb assembly back in the fog light assembly.
  7. Turn the bulb assembly clockwise till it click's.
  8. Job completed.

How do you replace the fog light bulb on 2008 avalanche

    • 1 Open the hood and reach down into the engine bay for the fog light assembly. If you cannot reach the fog light assembly from the top you may need to get underneath the truck to reach it. Remove the electrical plug running to the fog light ballast.
    • 2 Remove the bulb. Unlock the fog light bulb by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it straight out of the assembly.
    • 3 Slide a new bulb into the fog light assembly. The part number you will need for the new bulb will be located on the ballast or base of the old bulb.
    • 4 Turn the bulb clockwise to lock it into the fog light housing.
    • 5 Reconnect the electrical connector to the bulb ballast.

How to turn my bottom fog lights on in mercedes benz 300c

It's an electrical problem(you knew that)STEP1:check for voltage with a DVOM(voltage tester) at the fog light fuse,if current here switch is good, then problem is after fuse(make sure fuse is good). STEP2:check for power at the fog light ground (the fog light ground is bolt and nut that holds the unit up)if you get power at this end, make sure both light bulbs are good they might be a"series system"like x-mas lights if one burns out the other doesn"t work.

Fog lamps won't turn on

OK, you will need to first check the fog light wiring harness. make sure there are no worn wire lines or connections, replace if you see noticeable flaws in the wiring harness. Next, check the clip that fits over the back side of the fog light bulbs. Make sure that the inside copper pins are in good condition and, the the fit is tight. replace the wiring harness if these clips are worn or not fitting properly.

If the above inspections show no apparent wiring harness issues, you will then need to check for bulb failure. make sure that your fog light bulbs are operational. if the bulbs are ok, replace the switch.

Please rata and have a great day:)

Mud in fog lights

you can take the bulbs out and wash them out from the holes, a good way of preventing this is to use silicone around the bulb connector but then you have to clean all of the silicone off when replacing the bulbs

Changing fog light bulb

I just replaced the fog light bulb on my 2008 Azera. I went under the car and removed two screws from the protective shield. I pulled down the shield and reached up and turned the fog light socket and pulled it out of the housing, remembering which side the wires were on and removed the old bulb (Don't touch the new bulb with your hand) and replaced it with the new bulb. The job took less then 15 minutes
