How do I bleed the clutch on a 1984 nissan pickup?

the bleeding procedure is the same as bleeding the brakes although you won`t get a hard pedal like you do with brakes. bleed until you have pressure and no air in the system.

Hydraulic system, suspect bad master cylinder and/or booster. Check brake fluid level. Have brake system pressure bled and complete system checked.

Why do my brakes pump up after bleeding and still go to the floor when i start the truck?

If the brakes pump up after you start your engine, it means your brakes are good and there are no bleeds.

They pump up as the car builds pressure inside the brake fluid circuit.

If the pedal loses pressure and hits the floor while the engine is on, this means that you may have brake fluid leaks and your brakes won t hold much longer (needs immediate fix).

Ford Taurus X rear Brake lights won't turn off

There is a brake switch located at the upper portion of the pedal, these switches can come loose and fall towards the driver, when they do the brake lights will come on and remain on. The switch is activated when the pressure is released from the end of the plunger

When bleeding the brake, should the engine be running

Engine should be off and pump brake about 4 times to release pressure, then bleed, driver side rear, passenger side rear, passenger side front, then driver's side front, use a bleeder kit.If pressure won't hold and you have drum brakes, remove both rear hubs and check wheel cylinders for leakage.Check flexable fuel lines at wheels and it could be a bad brake master cylinder.

Back brake won't brake or bleed

Check for loss of fluid pressure to the brake caliper due to a damaged brake hydraulic line or a defective ABS hydraulic control unit. This really requires a professional to diagnose.

Check your brake linings. If they are worn, you won't get good pressure
