Yes valve covers could be the problem. the oil leaks around them and drips on the exhaust. jeff

SOURCE: 1995 Toyota Previa Engine Sputter after prolonged drives

95 toyota may have an early obd2 diagnostics, which started for all cars in 96,which means it can track a cylinder misfire, when ck light flashes it can mean multiple misfire detected causing serious loss of power, you can try going to autozone they do free ck engine light code reading ,tell them you may have obd2 plug according to web,let me know codes if you get lucky.with AZ its hit or miss

SOURCE: BMW 320d E46 2001 rear right hand door window

if you go to the dealer they will copy the mech manule it you ask them as they want you to get frustrated and take it to them
so go on and ask and if all else fails take it to them or goto local parts store like auto zone they can preint it off too
dealer is best bet though

you are using the incorrect type of fuel whenever i go to the pump use the 91 or the highest grade of fuel availible because it has a chemical that allows the engine to burn gas at a low emmision level.
