97 mpv hit in front replacing ac parts from junk yard possible?
Bought ac radiator and fan, tube that runs along bottom of ac radiator and both aluminum fittings coming out of radiator. Possible? or should i take it to local all around mechanic... not a mazda guy!
Re: 97 mpv hit in front replacing ac parts from junk yard...
Replacement of parts can be done by any compentent mechanic. However the system may need to be recharged or drained if system integrity is still intact by a licensed or certified shop depending on where you live

Is your ac fan coming on when you turn on the ac? If it only getting hot when you turn ac on I'd say your ac fan isnt coming on so check your ac relay and ac fuses. Is your ac blowing cold
Should be 2 radiator fans that come on when AC is turned on,check coolant fan switch or relay, check fans themselves to see if come on and turning fast enough to cool radiator fins. Is it sitting still or when driving running hot? get back with me.
Windshield molding? I'm assuming you are talking about the interior plastic pieces which are decorative to cover the bare metal frame of the vehicle? If so the best and cheapest place is your local junk yard now possibly called vehicle parts recycling center. ;-)
Air Spoiler is the name of the deflector you are referring to under the front bumper, if you need another head on out to your local junk yard for a cheap replacement, if lucky you can find one in the same color.
your AC cooling fan is not working properly, most vehicle has two fans, one for the radiator and another for AC, both work in sync with one another; if one cooling fan only working it does not produce enough cooling for both radiator and condenser at the same time; by running ac you producing more heat and its cant cool the engine fast enough with one fan so your engine is overheating when running AC. The temperature sensor could be faulty and need to be replace or your fan motor can also be faulty. Check the fuse first and the relay make sure they are not burn out. sensor cost about 30 bucks get it new, relay 35-40 new used 5 bucks at junk yard, fan get it from a junk yard for 25-30 bucks, new will run over 100 bucks. don't run the air and overheat your motor, it can damage your engine or may blow your radiator. if you do run ac watch the temp very closely, don't let temperature get into the red.
they both run if the AC is on or the engine temp gets very high, as long as this happens then all is well. Try turning on the AC and watch them both if only 1 runs there is a problem
