transmission range sensor? look down at the transmission. You will see a cable that attaches to a lever. look under that. you will see a black plastic part with a wire connector plugged in. That is the transmission range sensor.

Possible causes are as follows, I suspect you have an intake air/vacuum leak or a faulty MAF sensor. - Intake air leaks
- Faulty front heated oxygen sensor

- Faulty fuel injectors
- Exhaust gas leaks
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Lack of fuel

Want to locate Transmission range sensor

this is easy, there are only 2 electrical connectors on trann
one is the shift soleniods , in side.
the other is the shifter. PRNDL, prindle.
the PRNDL is on the the lever that shifts the actual transmission
car is under warranty, why fiddle?
you shift, and the PRNDL switch simply tells the PCM what you did.
nothing more. it also runs the Reverse lamps.
alldata.com or any FSM for car.
or
2nd google hit. plain english , see part 20

btw , go to any dealer on line , click parts, and look at all parts
you can see all parts and buy them if need.

2006 CRV instrument panel ghosts.

Sounds strange, look in your manual this may be a warning code if it bounces to the same rpm range. if not check your ecu black box ,if water or damp getting inside it may be causing the problem untill the engine heat dryes it out.
