I have a 1994 GMC Sonoma 4.3 V-6 with 244000 miles on it. The vehicles stops running once it gets to operating temp. and will not start on its own untill it gets cold again. If I put fuel down the throtle body it will start back up but I must keep the RPM up aroud 1500 or so for a while or it will dye and I will need to prime it again. I replaced the fuel pump and filter at about 120,000 miles. I again replaced the fuel filter about 10,000 miles ago. Any idea? The truck has about 125K mi. New Prom and EGR valve at 117K, New fuel pump at 121K mi. Up until 3 days ago the truck ran great. It stalled on a free way going about 45 mph. Had to get it towed home. At it sat for an hour or so, until it cooled down then it started right up. Once it got to operating it act as though it wasn't getting fuel then it died and couldn't be started again until the next day. So now the symptom is.......it starts fine, idles fine . even drives fine until it reaches normal operating temp then it dies and can't be started until it cools down.
