The vacuum line diagram is on the cross member in front of the radiator. If yours is gone then google the year and make and it will show you the routing.

Location of vacuum lines

That is the main source of vacuum...all other vacuum lines start near there...the main vacuum line will go to the brake booster, smaller lines will go to EGR, and all other points of the vacuum system. There is usually a small diagram on the cross beam attaching the radiator to the frame.

Got a 2001 Ford Taurus with 128K miles, engine was rebuilt 10 months ago, for the last 4 months it has been chugging or hesitating when I'm stopped at a light, Autozone codes said egr pressure sensor,...

Sounds like the egr solenoid stuck..Not the valve..When you are sitting at idle,,you should be able to take off the vacum line and there should be no vacuum..,If there is back track that line and see if it goes to a solenoid..I bet the vacuum lines are crossed..One should have vacuum,,the other should go to the egr valve..If they are crossed on the egr solenoid,,then you end up with constant vacuum going to your egr valve..Until you figure it out leave the line off the egr valve and block the line..If you are constantly haveing the valve held open,,you killing sparkplugs and the catylitic converter

Just replaced 2.6 motor. everything runs fine except even though the transmission shifts properly, the rpms are too high... I think I have vacuum lines crossed somewhere. I've gone from 26 mpg to 17mpg and...

you should have a 722.2 or 722.3 transmission . Theese are 4 speed but not overdrive. The vacuum line going to modulator should be manifold vacuum , mean it is supplied directly off the intake manifold and should be 16 to 18 hg at idle and nearly zero at wide open throttle. benz loves to use nylon lines to source vacuum for different things and they get hard with heat and age and break. Nobody could remove an engine on a 20 year old benz and not break one somewhere.

HI...
Yes the more probable is a fual line crossed.
you need to identify the pressure line. vacuum line and the return line.
The pressure go to the fuel filter.
The return go to the fuel tank. by the pump housing.
An the vacuum to the canister.

OK... I hope this help on your problem.
