SOURCE: My hyundai starex diesel 2.5L CRDi exhausts white smoke and poor acceleration after I cleaned injectors and replaced the fuel filter ... Need help please

The white smoke would indicate a blown head gasket. If water is getting into the engine it could cause that knocking noise. The other issue with the knocking could be as serious as a rod through the engine block.

Have just bought a 2005 terracan crdi 3 days ago and now it's not starting. Engine immobiliser warning light is on. Cranks normal but won't start! Please help!

If the security light is on there is a fault in the system this can be any number of failures and needs the system tested by the dealer. No simple answer here.

My accent crdi engine was over hauled recently but severe black smoke was coming when accelerated what to do

Black smoke is from too much fuel. Possible coolant sensor problem??? You can have this tested quickly with a live data scanner from a mechanic.

My Hyundai Matrix with CRDI engine is spewing white smoke. Mechanic says it is due to a oil leaking from an overused bearing of the turbo. He also says it cannot be repaired and has to be replaced...

It's true that turbos can't be rebuilt by the average mechanic. There is a lot of close tolerances and special tools required to repair a turbo. They have to be sent to a shop that specializes in that. I'm sorry for the bad news but thats it. Hope this helps.
