Question about Cars & Trucks
Hello , I need code for my chrysler 300c radio Can you please help me?
The code comes in only two places. The owner's manual and the dealer. The dealer might have the code on file if you can provide them with the VIN of the car.

SOURCE: car radio code
Unfortunatly you will have to bring the radio to the chrysler dealer for the code. This is not a guarenteed but when I had to replace my battery in my acura, I had to goto the dealer to get my stero unlocked. They charged me about 50 bucks. Hope this helps.

With out being able to see it sounds like you have a misadjusted or broken park lock cable. there is a cable that locks shifter in park unless Brake pedal is depressed. So if you are pressing the brake and can not shift into a gear. that would be the first place I would check

Code p1004 is "short runner valve performance"
There are 2 things Chrysler says in their bulletin :
1) RE-flash computer with a special "patch" from the
scan tool, and 2) Replace the intake plenum ( very expensive !)
This is the info I have, check back with a factory authorized Chrysler service center, and Please let me know what you find out.

The radio should say "code" use the numbered radio station preset buttons to enter the four digit code. If your radio says "wait" put your ignition key in, turn it TOWARDS YOU! (not away from you as you would normally) - and leave it it that position for up to two hours until the word "code" appears on the radio. Away you go ;)
