SOURCE: Where is the fuel pressure regulator located at in a 94 bravada

My friend, I suggest you go by your local Auto Parts Store and purchase a Haynes Repair Manual on this vehicle. There are many sensors and electronic controls involved with this engine as I'm sure you already know. Any one of these can memic something that "it is not".
If your problem is the Pressure Regulator, it is located inside the "Tunnel Ram" intake manifold along with the multiport fuel injection system.
Now,,, before I went through the trouble and expense of going into the Intake Manifold, I would run the EMC in Diagnostic Mode and see if there are any codes present.

SOURCE: i need to change my fuel filter in a 1994 nissan

The fuel filter is a disposable unit located in the engine compartment, next to the power brake booster. The filter should be replaced at least every 30,000 miles (48,000km). A dirty filter will starve the engine of fuel and cause driveability problems.

My info says to check fuel pressure at idle. W/o vacuum applied to fuel pressure regulator-- 43 psi. With vacuum applied to fuel pressure regulator-- 34 psi.

Was the vehicle running ok before you did all this work?

I have a 1995 nissan maxima and after cranking it up i notice that my fuel is flowing straight out the exhaust whatcould be the problem

Are you sure it's fuel? Not likely,if you were using excess fuel there
would be alot of black smoke coming from tailpipe. It could be water
as condensation, which is normal. However if you are getting alot of
black smoke, the first thing I would check is fuel pressure to detemine
if the regulator is defective.

My 2000 Nissan maxima wont rev above 2RMP.

Have you inspected the catalytic converter for blockage? The other issue could be fuel pressure...the fuel regulator could be defective. Hope this helps.

Fuel Pressue 1987 Nissan maxima

1st I hope you are taking the fuel pressure from the correct side of the system. The correct side will be the side coming from the fuel filter and before the fuel pressure regulator. At a normal idle, the pressure should be roughly 30-33 psi. When you crack the throttle rapidly, a sudden vacuum drop will cause the diaphragm in the fuel pressure regulator to shift causing the fuel pressure to jump sharply. Usually to 45 or 50 psi. You can check the maximum fuel pressure by dead heading the pump. This can be done by simply pinching off the return hose to the fuel tank. At an idle, the maximum fuel pressure the pump will put out will be displayed. You will also notice a slight jump in rpm's because it cause the fuel mixture to fatten up before the ECM can respond to changing the pulse width based off of the o2 sensor.
I hope my answer was satisfactory.
