Sounds like you have a solonoid out in your transmission. No simple fix for this. You will more than likely have to drop the transmission to replace solonoid.

Why do my 2002 diamante cut off as soon i shift to drive?

Does it seem to jerk as though it's in gear? Could be torque converter is lock in lock up mode. Or if just sort of runs rough and dies, could need tune up.

Iam getting a delay of a few seconds whenever i shift between neutral and drive or neutral and reverse on my 2007 nissan tiida cvt transmission.

Have the oil changed and the filter checked . I have a Mitsubishi lancer and it is in good nick but If I apply power before the shift happens it chirps the tyres . have the bands and clutch pack adjusted Run fault codes to check for faulty solenoids and servos.

How to change a automatic transmission?

Its a very big job, especially on a diamante. You need to disconnect any electrics to the transmission, remove the half shafts or universal joints, disconnect the shift linkage, remove the gearbox mount(s), the oil hoses. basically disconnect anything that is connected to the transmission. I believe however in a diamante you may be best removing the whole engine/transmission as a whole then seperate them outside the car.

Transmission changes slowly

When it was cold weather the oil is thicker and definitely here the transmission needs a good flush. Be careful to use the genuine Mitsubishi transmission oil as it was designed for it.
Cheers
