run the fault codes
not starting hot indicates an electronic component problem when hot
could be faulty cam/ crank position sensors, immobilizer or ECM

My car started jerking in Zimbabwe and the problem become worse as I continue I and up buying petrol pump but the problem continues and they diagnose and it gave me the code p1506 and p0130

code p 1056 refers to idle air control (IAC) valve --opening coil signal high===causes ---wiring short to positive ---IAC valve ---ECM
code p 0103 refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1 bank 1--circuit malfunction
also refers to O2 sensor 1 bank 1 ---circuit malfunction=== causes ---wiring--O2 sensor --ECM
The jerking could be from random misfiring ignition module failure or bad wires and connections or problems in the auto transmission ( if auto)
At this point the common factor in all these is the ECM
I suggest that you substitute a known good ECM first as I have difficulty is see a connection between the others and a jerking action of the car

Check engine light came on then flashed on motorway journey

the flashing light it is a warning that something is not right and could cost you if you dont pay attention to it.take it to kia for a diagnostic test.to determine the problem it could be one of many problem.these cars are full of sensor units which pick up faults and transfers this to the computer which in turn alerts you there is a problem by flashing the warning light.

Kia carens oil light staying on engine sluggish

Hi John, The oil pressure warning light is indicating pressure not level. You say the warning light is on at all times and the engine is losing power? I believe you should have a compression test carried out on the vehicle. It seems highly possible there has been severe damage to the engine. Is the engine emitting any strange sounds? How long has the oil light been on? How often do you service the vehicle by replacing all filters and engine oil? What engine oil do you use? Regards John

My kia caren done 60,000 kms and suddenly yesterday the air bag indicator was on & its still on when i am driving - please help

You need to have a competent shop look at your SRS system (air bags) one of the sensors are either corroded, loose or shorted and needs to be inspected by a shop. They can also reset your light after they discover what triggered fault. (Sometimes it's as easy as a loose contact)
