Question about Ford Explorer
My 2004 Ford Explorer is making a creaching sound when you hit a dip in the road, or especially when you go over a speed bump. Someone said that it could be the CV Joint, but I can't find anything about what it would do if that was it.
My grandfather has a 97 Ford Crown Vic that used to do the same thing. He had the front end greased when he got an oil change and that solved the problem. So thats probably all you need.

It's probably a ball joint , many front end components can't be greased only way to fix it is replace it. Have it check fords are susceptible to corrosion and fall apart
