09 sonata...overnight all stations reset...battery starts car fine...reset stations and will be fine all day...garage car overnight and start in morning and am..fm and xm all gone...any ideas ??

SOURCE: battery died for no reason
About the only thing you can do is disconnect the battery and connect them again after 5 minutes. If that do not work check for blown fuse. Other than that then the XM radio has been damaged by the charger.

Same problem here. I repeatedly complained to XM but got no reply. I listen to XM in 2009 Sonata and it was just as bad.
XM is better than AM. Much worse than FM.

doubtful probably burnt up a component in radio thats why when jumping a vehicle u turn off all accessories so when something gets crossed it doesnt short it out usually will blow a couple of fuses

The Alternator may not be charging at the proper level. If the car is running while you're trying to open the sunroof or turn on the defroster, then the battery light has nothing to do with those and they are separate problems. Have an ASE Certified mechanic check the charging system.
