Wiper motor has disconnected wire or is broken. If you go to your auto parts store and buy a Haynes Manual on your specific model and year, it will show you how to replace it.

it,s easy just open the hood and look down where the headlight is, unplug wires that go to the bulb socket, you may have to remove a lock ring, it just twists off then unlock bulb and replace, reverse for installation. REMEMBER DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS ON THE BULB,oil from your fingers can cause bulb to fail prematurely. they get very HOT!!

My daughter has a 2000 mazda b3000 pickup. She just recently had the fuel pump replaced and when she got it back the windshield wipers don't work the transmission slips and the speedometer doesn't work...

You might want to check the fuse for the wiper motor, if good, turn the wipers on, tap lightly on the wiper motor and see if it starts working, if it does work after tapping on it, the wiper motor might be failing or the circuit board. The trans slip and no speedometer could be caused by a faulty VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) this sensor, I think, is located in the rear differental and is very easy to change, Hope this helps, Gary
