Purchase a Haynes Manual at Auto Zone or another parts store. There are pics and layouts of where things are connected.

SOURCE: chevy s10 broken vacuum line

The plastic line in the wiring harness goes to the heater controls; and believe it or not , the other end goes to the vacuum tank - but its in the FENDER !!!!! behind the ABS, kinda under the drivers side hood hinge - great place to put one ain't it ? No wonder GM is going broke !! Good Luck

I have three vacuum lines from transfer case trans area were do i hook them up

I don't have an answer for you, but I wanted to warn you not to guess, nor accept anyone's answer who is not absolutely certain. You can buy a Haynes manual for your vehicle at an auto parts store, but it may not show vacuum line connections. Sorry.

If this is a 2004 Heritage ( old body style ) and the transfer case is known to lock in ( check with truck jacked up, shift into 4WD and try to turn front drive shaft ), the next item to look at is the vacuum disconnect motor for the front axle. This is on the front axle, and will move when shifted into 4WD

It is item #10, on this parts diagram

If you do not have movement in this, check the vacuum lines with a vacuum pressure gauge, to see if vacuum is being applied ( Pink line is 2WD w/ vacuum is operation, Blue line is 4WD w/ vacuum operation ). If no vacuum at the lines, check them back to the vacuum shift solenoids

I have a 91 s10 Blazer 4.3 4x4. I need to find out where the vacuum lines go from the switch on the transfer case to the engine go. When I got the Blazer the vacuum lines were gone.

You should go to a salvage yard and get the plug that plugs into the top of the transfer case.It is a 3 line plug and it is a molded rubber plug. The lines go to the actuator.Which is under the battery tray. The other goes to engine vacuum. The other tees off to the vent pipe on the rear of the transfer case and atmosphere. That`s why I suggested the salvage yard.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Where is the vacuum switch on the transfer case, 1999 s10 blazer

It is on the driver's side on top. Three vacuum lines connect to it. 7/8 is the size and no you do not have to take the transfer case out.
