Question about Cars & Trucks
My car battery if fine but my car feels like its going to shut off every-time I'm at a red light
Your vehicle should be displaying a check engine light. if so hook an obd2 scan tool to the service port and scan the code(some parts stores will let you use a scan tool if the vehicle is in thier parking lot) if no trouble code is present the most likely candidates are a faulty idle air control valve, clogged fuel filter or faulty pressure regulator. the vehicle could simply be in dire need of a tune up. have a burnt through plug wire etc... check some of the basic and ill keep an eye on this post and get back to you as you work through it. i always recomend purchasing a haynes of chilton repair manual. these manuals have troubleshooting step by step directions and provide alot of valuable information. and the only cost about 15 bucks

SOURCE: car shuts off while driving
Don't know if this has anything to do with your problem, but it could be worth a try.
My 2001 turbo had a similar problem when it was low on oil.
The oil light never came on, but it was low enough to cause it to stall.
Seems there has to be enough oil circulating on the camshaft (I think they told me the camshaft, now it has been so long that I am not positive).
Either way, a quart and a half of oil solved my stalling problem.
And the problem got bad enough before I had it towed to the VW shop that it wouldn't start, very much like it had a dead battery or an electrical (starter/ignition) problem, but i still had plenty of power for horn, lights, radio, etc.
Hope this helps!
