Five most likely causes 1. dead battery 2. faulty starter cylinoid 3. faulty ignition switch 4.loose connection at any of the points5 faulty starter relay. the battery can be removed and taken to most any parts store and checked. likewise with the starter/cylinoid. checking for loose or bad connections is pretty self explanatory. move from connection to connection and check for loose connections or corrosion. once you know your battery and starter are in working order (you should only be into this project for your time at this point) you can check your ignition switch and starter relays with a voltmeter and/or test light to identify where the current is stopping. hope this helps good luck!

sorry i typed int he wrong box. water pumps are generally belt driven by the serpitine system. you should be able to identify it by tracing to radiator hoses. if that doesnt help a hayne or chilton repair manual only cost about $15 and has tons of usefull information

Searching for a diagram of the 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan engine indicating where the water pump is located on the engine.

If it is a 3.0 the water pump is located under the timing belt cover, which is probably why you can't locate it. WARNING If this is the case be very careful. Although the water pump has a "weep hole" because of the pumps location, it is VERY difficult to locate or even notice a water leak. If you have water pump issues, it is very easy to overheat these engines to to the point of serious damage. Please get back to me with your engine size so that I can be more specific. Hope this helps! Dano

Where is the water pump located on the 2006 chevy hhr ls

HI. The water pump can be located by simply following the large, or lower radiator hose to the engine block. This hose runs directly into the water pump housing. The smaller, or upper hose runs to the thermostat.

I can't locate the water pump on my 2006 trailblazer

I can only assume you are looking for it as you want to replace it. It's on the front of the engine block behind the serpentine belt.
I'm referring you to another Fixya answer so you can see what is involved in replacing the water pump. It is not for the faint of heart... it can be hard work and tricky, especially for a novice.
