Auto Zone, or others, have a book called a Haynes Manual, that has all of the diagrams and schematics with instructions and pics on how to fix just about anything on your model vehicle.

Have02 buick cent, starts right up,I hear air hissing while drivin doesn't have the power to go up hill,it will not go over 45 on hwy, bought, controlvalve,EGRvalve,TPsensor, and in tank!

Check for vacuum leaks. Hissing usually indicates a vacuum leak. Check around the intake manifold and intake runners, pcv valve, vacuum lines, brake booster and anything else (air conditioner controls if you have automatic climate control) that runs on vacuum. A hiss that is louder inside the car is usually caused by either a brake booster leak (closer to driver side) or the air container controls (closet to the center console). Good luck.

Car stalls when put in gear

The first thing I would do is check for vacume leaks if the leak is bad enough u will be able to hear a hissing sound. start checking and wiggeling each line u can find especialy around intake manifold and brake master cyl. for the hissing sound to change if u have a gauge and manual u can check vacume a test port to see if it is within limits.

Diagnostic code says LEAN

You may have a vacuum leak. The leak may be at the intake manifold (upper or lower) or any of the vacuum lines leading to the various sensors or the brake booster (larger hose leading from the upper intake to the large round device behind the master cylinder near the firewall on the drivers side). You should find (usually) a vacuum line diagram affixed to the underside of the hood near the front, or on the framing near the radiator. Also listen for a tell-tale hissing when the engine is running this may help you locate the leak. Hope this helps you.

Idle problem when brakes applied

Sounds like you have a vacume leak on your brake booster ....with engine running have someone press the brake while you listen on the driver side by the master cylinder the large vacume line going to the booster behind the master cylinder is most likely the vacume leak...and if so you can get what you need at your local parts store ...

Breaks when pressed make a hissing noise, i have pressure on the line but no breakes?

Either the break booster is bad or there is a hole in the vacume line comming from the engine to the booster, is the hissing noise you hear comming from under the dash? if it is then the booster is bad, if its under the hood chk.the vacume line to the booster. If its a vacume leak it will idle higher than normal too.

My mazda 6 is idling and shuts off, and there is a hissing sound coming from the engine you can hear it just can't find where. This all started when the hissing began. I found 3 hoses cracked and I...

You still got a vacume leak, best chk. all your vacume hoses paying close attention to the one that goes to your break booster, it also could be an intake gasget, You can chk. that by spraying a little WD-40 around the intake and vacume lines while its running if it reves up than thats where your leak is, not a whole lot you don't want to start a fire.

Front drive, 4 Wheel drive won't engage

that vacume line goes back to the transfer case, the end that goes behind the motor hooks to a steel tube so it does not get hot from the exhaust., my guess it should be hooked up so it will feed vacume to the vacume ball so it can lock in the axels. if you start the car and shift into 4 wheel drive and listen under hood you should hear a hissing sound, that is vacume, if you can't hear it there, you may have to craw under the right side to hear it, probably came unhooked underneith the car
