Go to Auto Zone or others and get a Haynes manual. it has all of the schematics and diagrams that you need.

SOURCE: Blew a fuse that powers radio/clock/lighter in

there is a fuse box under the dash on the drivers side. it is very hard to reach. it is located above your left knee when you are seated in the drivers seat. lay on your back, look up under the dash, use flashlight. The lid for the fuse box has a diagram showing which fuse goes to the radio.

SOURCE: the horn and cruise control doesn't work, fuses are

the horn input to ground is located in the cruise control module. if they both don't work then your cruise control module or the clockspring coil for the steering wheel needs to be replaced. If airbag lights is on as well then I would change the clockspring coil first.

SOURCE: horn and steering wheel functions not working

could be a bad clocksping the airbag is on it to but one of the thin film "wires" that are glued to it may have cracked.all the switches are on one "wire" the resistance of each switch is how the body control computer knows what button is pushed. i broke one of those clocksprings accidently when i worked at volvo so thats how i know those things are/were 1400.00$ i would take it to the dealer to have them diagnose and repair. the clock spring breaks real easy when you take off the steering wheel.

My horn won't work on my 2007 Uplander. Checked fuses, and wiring and everything is fine. What could it be?

This is caused by a loss of connection in the coiled ribbon contact under the steering wheel called the Clock Spring contact. Before you remove the steering wheel to replace this contact drum you MUST DISARM the Airbag system. Failure to disarm the system can result in serious injury or in rare cases *****.

Which fuse to change for steering wheel lights and gear shifter lights 2010 ford edge

It's not a fuse , the SJB - smart junction box controls these lights ! This is fords body control module . If the Heater / A/C control panel ,hazard switch ,headlamp switch , message center switch all work, it is not a fuse . The gear shifter I would say the bulb is burnt out . The steering wheel lights could be out because of an open in the clock spring . The clock spring is a device inside the steering column under the steering wheel that keeps your horn , cruise control , radio buttons etc... connected electrically . How cars clock spring works

Horn and cruise control stop working

There is a device called a "clock spring" inside the steering wheel/column. It contains all the various wires to the buttons on the steering wheel. Sometimes these clock springs that wind and unwind every time the steering wheel is used simply wear out or break causing the problem you cite - no electricity gets to the buttons on the steering whell. Replacing the "clock spring" is mildly expensive. Parts and labor about 400-500 bucks.

Anyone know where I can get a clock spring for 2007 Nissan Qashqai. Im in Ireland but if anyone can suggest a website in the UK Ill order from there. Problem is none of the steering wheel controls work on...

If there are junkyards in Ireland, that might be where you will find the clockspring you need. You may have to find something else in the Nissan line around that year.

I have a 2004 silverado 1500...the air bag light "popped"on for no apparent reason the fuse keep's popping some times the fuse work's and most of the time the fuse pop's i checked under the seat and it all...

There is a clock spring under the steering wheel that provides power to the drivers airbag when turning the wheel, those are known to go out or get a short in them. Take the vehicle to Autozone and have them pull the codes for you to see which bag or sensor is causing the light. As for blowing the fuse I am leaning towards the clock spring since it is prone to high wear from constant turning of the wheel. Hope this helps.....
