Question about 1994 Ford Escort
Usually if a timing belt breaks or slips your valves will be bent or broken by your cylinder head. There are markings on the front pulley and on the other pulley that have to meet the belt and a sheet metal plate markings if cylinder #1 is at top dead center. This is what boys learn in grade 9 in high-school if they aren't taking business. If it seems difficult to do yourself have the vehicle towed to a mechanic before the belt slips further.

does it like surge and your batt gauge drop or? if so its bad batt or alt, if not then i would say run every wire you see and look for imperfections in the wire or corrosion build up around any wire connection

I do not know which relay you are looking for? But inside the power distribution box is one for the fan, over on the right top fire wall are two more for ignition and fuel. Hope this helps, let me know.
