Question about Cars & Trucks

HELP!!!! Toyota paseo 93. When I got the used car the dash cluster lights/ tail lights/ lic plate light didn't work. I checked and changed the fuses in car/ under hood. I checked and changed the tail lights in the back. Replaced the break switch. Then pulled at the radio and it had two wires touching causing a fuse to pop fixed that. Now no popping fuses. But now the tail lights in front and back stay on even when the cars off!!! What is the problem and how do I fix it?

Those are your marker lights. They come on when you turn your lights on halfway. I would suspect your light switch was overheating and melted the harness behind it and shorted 2 wires.

Did you see the Small Black Squares inside the Fuse Relay Box under the Hood? These are Relays. There should be a Relay that says "Illumination" OR "Lights" around this area. One of the tail light bulbs can be shorted internally.  Replace the tail light bulbs first.  Try this cheap fix first.

SOURCE: tail light stop working on my 92' toyota camry

In the car trunk, there may be a electrical relay box behind the panel on the left side. It is usually no bigger than 4 inches by 4 inches and yellow in color. This is present in 1987-1991 Toyota Camrys and is generally not in most repair manuals. This yellow electrical relay box may have burnt out. Best place to pick one up at an inexpensive price is at the car wrecking or salvage yard. It is very expensive at the dealer. It is easy to replace with no special tools required. I have done this on my 1991 Camry,

What is behind the fuse box

You really need a good wiring diagram. Those cars are basically a toyota corolla on the inside with a good amount of mods to the electrical system. Grab a manual from an auto parts store or go to a local tech school that has an auto repair program and make copies. This will save you loads of time troubleshooting the problem. 25322389-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-0.jpg

Parking, tail and lic plate lights are not turning on. But the headlights, hazards and turn signal all work

On "most" vehicles, the parking, tail, lic plate AND dash lights are all on the same circuit. Usually, the fuse will be labeld "park", "tail", or "illum".
If you have dash lights but no park lights, it's likely that there is a break in the wiring somewhere...

Tail lights don't work and instrument panel won't light up on 2007 corolla

you blew a fuse. check fuses in both fuse boxes..
ahh yes, the IP cluster lamps are dad, but not the idiot warning lights
only the parking lights in the cluster are dead. right.?
and the park-tail, running lights and dash dim lights are all the same.
my guess three is a short on the TAIL fuse, the TAIL fuse blew
and took out: park-tail, running lights and dash dim lights are all the same.
it blew. most are marked tail even thought it runs side lamps and front parking lamps... TAIL is wrong, they are parking. lamps it truth.

Tail lights stop working ive change fuse, bulbs, check relay it all check fine turn, brake, hazzards lights all work just the tail & inside cluster lights are not working please help.

The tail lights and dash lights are on two different circuits. The main link would be the headlight switch. I would check for voltage there first.

Can't find fuse for tail lights. Not in cluster by steering wheel, not in cluster under hood.

the rear tail lights, license plate bulbs, and the front park lights are all fed off the same fuse. I show fuse one in the dash fuse block (15 amp). If the front amber park lights are working its not a fuse.

Are you sure the bulbs are good? Have you checked the connections in the harness?
