Wont start cold if put hot water over pump will start whats problem

If you mean hot water over fuel pump, I would suspect fuel icing. Try adding can of "HEAT" to fuel (removes water from fuel)

Have a 2004 kia sorento, can start and run for like 5 mins then just shuts down. All the lights, radio, heater/ac all work strong. Car won't start afterwards. Any suggestions?

I have a 1997 buick lesabre, and it wont start. I took it to a guy who said that it was the fuel pump. well he changed that but it back fired a couple of times and then it stopped and wont start again. It's just turning over now. well then I found out that the gas I put in it may have had water in it, when the guy went under the hood and pushed out some "gas" it was water it had no smell. so we put some rubbing acohol in it to burn out the water. now it still wont start. I need help, dont know what to do at this point. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!!!

Car wont start after putting on a new water pump

My first guess would be something is not connected such as a sensor or power to the coils. The crank sensor and cam sensor could be in the area of the pump.

Help me please !!!!! timing belt issues!!!

check for any sensors left disconnected ,if this is a 94 then the chances are the sensor is on the front pulley and it hasnt been re-connected ,also it may have a cam sensor .get the person who changed the pump back to put it right why did you let them leave without the car starting

Replaced water pump now car wont start

I believe your wter pump is timing belt driven. it could have fallen off, or it is broken. bad timing belt will not let a car start.

Replaced water pump on 1994 3.4L camaro, put wires back on coil and can't get my car to start. it turns but wont start, what do i do? is the wire formation wrong???

double check ignition wire placement. Make sure the coil didn't get disconnected somehow. Most likely you have the plug wires jacked up.

Car shuts down after 1/2 hr. and wont restart till cold

you're water pump is going out and the car is overheating as a safety mechanism the chevy company put a senser that shuts down your car when it gets to a certain temperature to prevent any other damages. A new water pump will fix your problem.

Bottom wheel of water pump wont turn, burning belt

The wheel could be stuck but you need to have the water drained out and a mixture of antifreeze to water added to it. Be sure to keep in mind the heater core also has fluid in it and you could damage that also.
