Question about 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
This should be throwing a trouble code. Connect a scan tool (available at any dealer, repair shop, or buy your own) to the OBD port under the drivers side dash. The scanner should indicate which code is being thrown. That will give you good direction to find the cause. Likely an emissions problem/issue, but the code will help narrow it down. Once you have the code, you can search the Internet for fixes.
