Can you help me change my headlight assembley? i have a 97 200sx SE

1.) Pop the hood to your Nissan. The headlight assemblies are only accessible from the engine compartment.

2.) Clear the area behind the bulb you are replacing. If you are replacing the passenger side bulb, you will need to remove the radiator overflow bottle. The bottle will unhook from its connective tube by pulling it toward the front of the car and up from the ground. If you are replacing the driver's side bulb, you may need to remove the battery. You will do this by unscrewing the positive (red) and negative (black) terminals that connect the battery to the engine, and then lifting the battery straight out of its housing.
3.) Remove the electrical connection on the back of each headlight assembly. This will be a bundle of wires with a wide plug sticking into the back of the assembly.
4.) Unlatch the plastic clip holding the headlight assembly case in place.
5.) Pry the small metal clip holding the bulb using your fingers or a screwdriver. Be careful not to bend, break or damage the clip or the bulb.
6.) Insert the replacement bulb into the headlight socket and reattach the metal clip that holds the bulb in place.
7.) Relatch the plastic clip holding the headlight assembly case in place.
8.) Reconnect the electrical connection to the back of the headlight assembly.
9.) Replace the radiator overflow bottle or the battery, depending on which bulb you replaced.

How do you change headlamp/bulb

Hello there, hope these guidelines are of help.
  • Open the hood and and take out the eight fastener plugs that connect the radiator cover to the front of the vehicle. Grasp the plugs from underneath, and squeeze them as you push them up and out of the hole. You do not need to remove the cover, but you need to be able to pull it away from the vehicle slightly to be able to remove the headlight.
  • Grasp the radiator cover close to the lens of the headlight you need to replace, and gently pull it up and toward you to access the headlight screws.
  • Remove the three headlight screws using a socket wrench. There are two screws directly below the lens, and one screw on the side of the lens closest to the outer edge of the vehicle.
  • Pull the edge of the radiator cover away from the vehicle, and lift the headlight assembly up and out of its frame.
  • Press the clip on the electrical connector to release it, and pull the connector out of the bulb retainer. Turn the bulb retainer counterclockwise 1/4 turn and pull it out of the assembly.
  • Pull the bulb out of the socket and insert the new bulb. Do not touch the bulb's glass with your fingers. Use a clean, lint-free cloth to handle the bulb if necessary.
  • Insert the bulb and retainer into the assembly, and turn it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it. Plug the electrical connector into the bulb retainer.
  • Place the headlight back into its frame and replace the screws. Put the radiator cover back into place and insert the eight fastener plugs.
Best regards...

How to change the headlights?

Hi there, here are some few tips to assist you:
  • Remove the center cover and the screws attached to the radiator grille. Pull the radiator grille out of the engine compartment and set it on the ground.
  • Use a T30 Torx screwdriver to remove the two primary retaining screws from the headlight assembly. Make a note of each screw's original location--they're not interchangeable, so you'll need to put them back in the right slot to reassemble the light.
  • Draw the headlamp assembly away from the car and then disconnect the electrical wiring connector.
  • Release the wire clip on the back of the headlight assembly and remove the cover.
  • Disconnect headlight electrical connector and turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the assembly. Install the new bulb, replace the cover and reattach the electrical connector.
  • Reconnect the headlight assembly wiring connector. Test the new bulb to make sure it works before replacing the retaining screws and radiator grille.
Hope these help. Please rate me if they do.

How do I replace a 2003 Chrysler Concord headlight bulb?

open hood, remove radiator suport bar that has the hood latch on it. in the center above the grill there are 2 10mm bolts and 3 plastic fasteners with a pin in the center of them, pull pin up and remove fasteners. there are 2 plastic fasteners on each side of center piece i broke them off and replaced the with fasteners with push pin from auto store. remove 10mm and 13mm bolts holding the center support bar and 2 long 7mm bolts holding headlight assembly lift bar up and set on engine. be carefull not to scratch fenters or anything else with th end of bar. there will be just enough room to remove bulb. after you've done it once it takes ten minutes 2nd time. i just did my wifes 2 hrs ago. thanks gary j.
