Check the fuel pressure. Scan the computer for any trouble codes. If it just started doing this, and normal maintenance on the vehicle has been done (air filter, spark plugs, oil changes), a fault code might come up-the Mass Air Flow sensor comes to mind. Or if it is not getting enough gas, a fuel pressure test should find that out.

1984. Why does it run fine during cold weather and sputter when it is warm and I punch the gas pedal?

could be low float level, low pump pressure/supply
blocked fuel filter
when cold the engine is running on choke setting which draws more fuel from the carby
when it is warm the choke is off and if you have a flat spot ( (sputter) , that indicates a lack of fuel or maybe a bad accelerator pump or power valve
if the carby is a holley then replace the power valve and overhaul the accelerator pump.

Jaguar xjs 1995 v12 engine lack of power

I would start with a tune up, then isolate any symptoms other than lack of power if it persists, like rough idle, sputtering, jerking, engine trouble codes, etc.

03 impala sputtering and has no power

when was the last time a tune up was done? fouled out spark plugs will make the car sputter and lose power. this is caused by a lack of efficient spark in the engine. try changing the spark plugs and possibly the wires if they are damaged or worn etc.

Time for the dealer to take a look. You need special skill and special tools to diagnose this not to mention years of experience with electronic engine control systems.

Lack of power and sputters under a load

I had a similar problem with one of my vans. My problem was a clogged fuel filter. It was a result of water in my gasoline tank.

Engine light came on wit lack of power spluttering and wgite smoke from exhaust

Dear Sir,
As you said engine light is on and misfire with white smoke, it clearly symptom of poor ignition spark may cause of any wire got disconnected or spark plug faulty.
white smoke comes only in case no spark at spark plug and un burn fuel throwing from silencer. check wire and spark plug if any issue let me know. thanks.

Sputtering then stopped running and wont turn over.

Wont turn over are you sure as wont start is differant than wont run
Wont start could be Battery/starter/or engine siezed.
Wont run is not the same,,, that could be lacking power /low on oil/water/ Fuel/or even engine lacking power like down on compression which is all the above plus more ....
So check it out let us know again. Ron
