You should check your compression ,and timing belt .If your engine doesnt start your check engine light wont go out until the engine cranks up

2000 honda passport got 3 cyclinders firing and 3 not

Check for power at the injector plugs. The injectors are on one power source. No power, broken wire. If you have coil on plugs, do the same. If you have a coil pack, check for spark on the bad side. No spark, replace the coil pack.

99 chevy g3500 wont start

do you have injector pulse? the "hall effect" you mentioned is the camshaft position sensor it times the injectors to the ignition fire. the coil is actually triggered by the crankshaft sensor . is the rotor turning while starter is engaged, if not the drive gear pin could be sheared and not getting the spark out to the wires.GOOD LUCK.

Why do I have problems start 99 honda passport ,in the morning ??

ook for split intake tube or loose clamps on intake. Turn key to on for few seconds then off. repeat several times then try to start. If start ok indicates loss of fuel pressure (could be fuel pump, return not shutting off or leaking injectors)

Main relay short

If you had a short you would be popping fuses like crazy.

Do yourself a favor and get a schematic to do your trouble shooting so as to not waste time. I assume you have already checked the fuel delivery system, air, and compression so that spark is your issue. If no spark check out coil(s) along with crankshaft sensor and all associated wiring and connectors. Your ecm fires the injectors so you hope that part is working since it is expensive to replace. Oh, a weak spark will fire outside the cylinder but not spark in the cylinder when the mixture is compressed and dense.

99 mazda 626 v6 firing order

  • A missfire could be alot of things. If its "pulling a code" then its probably not spark plugs or plug wires. Most of the time it will be a coil or crankshaft/camshaft position sensor. If its a little miss then it could be a dirty injector where only some fuel is getting through. If the injector plugs are easy to access i would unplug #3 while its running. If there is no change, its probably a spark issue and would bring your coil in to autozone or anywhere that can test it. If its good, get the crank/camshaft sensor tested. If the idle gets a little rougher when you unplug #3, it could be a plugged injector

Cannot find spark plug terminals.

It is a coil on plug system. The Red or Red/Striped wire is the control of the primary winding from the ECM. The BLK/ORG wire is the ground side of the primary winding. The BLK/BLU wire is the secondary winding wire.

ONLY USE DENSO SPARK PLUGS IN A 2000 PASSPORT. If you use aftermarket plugs, the crankshaft sensor tends to detect it as a signal to the computer, and for some reason it resets the computer. Seen it happen more than once.

13 ft/lb torque spec by the way.
