Question about 1990 Dodge D150
I have always been able to get it to start but sometimes I have to move it from park to neutral and/or jiggle the shift lever. I recently had the transmission rebuilt. I took the truck back to them and they made some adjustments and it started fine for a while. Then it showed up again so I took the starter off and had it tested. It started 3 for 3. At first it seemed like the problem was more noticeable on colder mornings. It is beginning to be more difficult to start all the time now. Should I just replace the starter even if it tests okay? Any help would be great.
No do not replace the starter the problem is in the neutral safety switch, either out of anjustment or needs to be replaced, get back to me if you need more help, please rate my fix as i strive to be the best
