Fan loose , anti-freeze dripping

I have a 1999 dodge durango. Did not sound right while running, noticed that the belt wiggled a little around the fan. stopped the engine and moved the fan around and it seemed loose then heard something dripping. looked under the durango and saw water/anti-freeze dripping. my guess is water pump not sure.

It's the water pump, it'll eventually start eating your belt up after a little while of running like that. I have a 99' durango I have already come across this problem.

05 dodge durango 5.7 hemi. When I step on gas to accelerate I hear a loud sweaking sound. It just started tonight what could it be.

Hi Mary:
Squeaks from the engine area will be coming from moving non-lubricated parts.
Try checking:
- Serpentine belt. These will squeak like crazy if they have anti-freeze on them.
- Water pump. They have a bushing with a seal. Even if the seal is still not leaking, the bushing can be worn and will make some noise.
- Alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning pump can all have similar broblems with bearings.
MECHANICS TRICK! Use a stethescope to listen near the part you're checking. This is a mechanics stethescope, not the doctors kind. I just use a 2 ft long piece of 1/2" wood dowell. Hold it at one end with my thumb over the end, put my thumb against my ear, and touch the part that I'm checking. Obviously, the motor has to be running while you do this, so STAY SAFE! Do not let the dowell touch any moving parts. No kidding. Your motor can talk to you.

The fan and pulley are loose on my '99 dodge durango which is shaking my belt off into the fan, what would cause this and how can I fix it

You have a bad water pump. Have it fixed ASAP, it can suddenly get worse and send your fan through the radiator! Pretty easy to replace, should cost you around $200 total

98 Dodge Durango parking lights don't work!

sounds like you could have a loose connection somewhere in the wiring at the parking lights.. check the blub housing to make sure all the tabs to hold the bulb are there,,, wiggle the wires a little and see if they are broken loose... also check the grounds... see if any are loose or broken..
