Not sure what you are asking, because fuel is delivered to your injector (you have more than one - typically one per cylinder) vial the fuel rail(s). There is a test port on the rail. Check the pressure at the test port using a fuel pressure gauge (about $30). Not sure of the specific requirement for your vehicle, but generally around 40psi is OK. If it is lower than that, your fuel filter is clogged and/or your fuel pump (they call it fuel sending unit nowadays) is not functioning properly. Check all fuses and relays associated with your fuel delivery system. IF you don't know how old your fuel filter is, replace it. If you have good fuel pressure, have someone turn the car over while you listen to each injector using a long handled screwdriver. Hold the handle end against your ear and the tip of the screwdriver touching the top of each injector. You should hear clicking sounds in a regular rhythmic ticking. If you don't hear clicking, or the clicking is not a regular rhytmic ticking (staggered), then your injectors are the problem. Keep in mind that multiple injector failure is extremely rare. It would more likely be the wiring or the timing of the injector. Better yet, how come you are so sure it is a fuel related problem? Have you ruled out the possibility of an ignition failure? What about the possibility of an Air blockage? It takes all 4 (Fuel, Air, Ignition & Timing) to fire a cylinder = starting the engine. "No sense going down a rabbit hole unless you are sure there is a rabbit in there." Good luck.

How can you tell if you need to put fuel injector fluid in car 2009 chevy impala

You never need injector additives. Injectors move, so are self cleaning. Put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail, and if it is low, replace the filter. If it does not hold some pressure when you turn it off, and it keeps dropping to 0, then you have a leaking injector that needs to be replaced. You can pull all the injectors while still attached to the fuel rail, and you can see if they have the right pattern or drip.

1994 camaro 3.4 injector is leaking unbolted the plenum unpluged the wires to the injectors the plenum will not o come off i am afraid of damageing the other injectors or plenum dont know what to do

The lower intake manifold can be leaking antifreeze, The injectors are reconmended to be removed but they can stay in if nessary the lower intake manifold has 8 bolts and the studs that hold the injectors in have to be removed as they hold the upper phelm on too. To gain clearance to do this job the engine has to be raqised and the motor mounts removed and the then the engine lowered with the mounts removed. the engine will now be low enought to get to the rear bolts. The service maniul says to remove the subframe bolts and lower it all but the steering collum has to be disconnected or the rack released from the subframe and this is an area for damage. I lower the motor with the mounts loose. Break lines and ABS conponants are in the repair list if you let the subframe down too far.

How hard is it to replace a fuel injector?

Relieve the fuel pressure. Unplug the injector rail wire harness. Remove the two fuel rail mounting bolts and the small screw and clip that secure the lines to the exhaust camshaft housing. Pull strait out while wiggling the fuel rail. At the top of the injector, remove the clip and unplug the electric. Remove the clip on the bottom of the rail that holds the injector in. Pull the injector strait out. Check that the O-rings are still attached to the bottom of the injector and at the top. If not, CAREFULLY.. remove them from the holes that they were mounted in.

2.5 voyager crd on 52 plate

Hi there, you will need to remove the injector and replace the copper seal on the base of the injector. You do this by de-pressurising the fuels rail, ie, loosen the metal pipe attached to the injector, fuel will spill till all pressure has gone. remove the metal pipe and the multiplug connector too, remove the clamp and bolt holding the injector in place. Gently twist the metal part of the injector body and with an upwards motion remove it from the bore. Clean the bore thoroughly and use a vacuum to remove the carbon as you scrape it away. Once happy everything is clean, replace the copper washer and refit the injector in reverse order as for removal. You will have a sealed injector and no blowing will be heard.

Hope this helps
