Question about 2010 Audi A5
You need to clean out the idler. it is on the intake (air) it is fixed to the case of the in take. also change or clean the air filter. some thing like w40 will clean it out take off and spray inside, cover the hole over with you hand and shake. then shake it out without your hand covering it. may need to do this a few times till clean. also clean the top of the intake clean the muck off the valve big round part inside moves when the peddle is moved. that can get coated and cover it gap that it needs. wd40 and some clean cloths will clean this.move it open and clean the sides as well. most faults with idle control is caused by this being mucky other idle faults is the stopper on the accelerator cable covered in muck and not sitting back right on the pin stopper.
