How do i stop the aslarm system from going off each time i open the door

Start by cleaning the door contacts - push em in and out by hand 50 times or if metal type clean with emery paper
Could be any one of the contacts or a bad earth - factory fit alarm or aftermarket? Sounds like an auto electricians job or an alarm installer if the simple stuff doesn't work

Lost remote car alarm

speak nicely to honda dealer and see if the remote fob was recorded whenthe car was new.
The dealer may have software to get the info from your car, or, possibly phone an Auto locksmith ... they should be able to supply you with a new fob (prob who the dealer use anyway).
Do not try to by pass the immobiliser system....its doing its job!

How do I get the lights to flash on my Honda CRV when I use the keyless remote?

I am assuming that you had an Aftermarket Alarm installed and probably not equipped to do this function. The Aftermarket Alarms normally have a horn to signal activation.

Battery went dead on car, car security system is in safe mode and want let car start, when you unlock the car alarm sounds and want do anything else, Battery has been replaced, can i reset the alarm if so...

The new battery should have reactivated the alarm? If this is a keyless entry, than your original code should work?

If it doesn't than you need to call the dealer, or seervice provider for your alarm system there has to be a reset code, or a new one has to be provided?

I would try your normal code first! If it works, your good, if not, your going to be on the phone! No body but the place you purchased your vehicle from or the Alarm system provider can give you that answer!

Kind Regards!

I just bought a 1994 Accord EX and it only came with one key, i notice that everything is powered. How can i get a set of keyless entry remotes without going to the dealer?

you can go to someplace like best buy or any audio store that sells and installs alarms and remote starts you will probably have to install a remote start to get the keyless entry feature.

Cannot get alarm to go off and car wont crank. 1997 Accord

It ended up being my alternator. No one could figure it out with stantard know-how, i had to take it to a Auto Parts Store for a load test on battery, they found the alternator was pulling battery down and causing alarm and security to enable start-up. Thanks for getting back in touch with me.

How to add remote starter to existing keyless entry/alarm system

No you do not need to scrap anything. Most of the starters at will work with everything you have installed. Also its a good idea to leave all that stuff in anyway as it will take away from the resale value when you go to sell it. Most of the new remote starters will take place of the factory remote anyway so you will only need to carry one (provided you get the one that has all the features on it). If you get the cheapest one out there, you would still carry the factory remote as well (which is what I do myself). I would personally leave all the factory Honda System in and get the cheapest starter out there. Seems like this would 1.) be the best bang for the buck and 2.) not take away from the value of the vehicle since nothing would be removed. Thank you for using FixYa. Good luck to you!
