SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Erasing the history will not correect your problem. Have the trans module scanned for codes. Look for communications errors.

Is there a history of vin numbers in the US so i can track a cars history

Not aware of any national database. If I understand the premise, isn't that what "carfax" is all about? To trace a car's history? It's only been around a few years, and I don't know where they get their registry list, or how they work.

How do I reset the odometer on my car. I don't car that it is illegal. I just want to know how it is done. Thats all. And anyways its only illegal if you get caught.

You need a scan tool to reset it. Mileage is stored in the cars ECM history. Good luck, other thing is to swap out an other ECM with less or miles in it's history, but that ECM will have the history and Vin number from the other car.

I have 3 ipc codes what does ipc stand for 98 cadillac eldorado

IPC stands for Instrument panel control, here is a typical code repair flow chart, this is for example only and has nothing to do with your car..
P083 = 24x signal high.

P107 = Instrument panel control )IPC) to computer (PCM) data problem.

P137 = Loss of Automatic braking system (ABS) to Traction control system (TCS).

What you need to do is CLEAR all these codes from the computer and see which ones return.

Perform this test.

1. Ignition key ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Diagnostic codes such as above will appear with the word HISTORY or CURRENT for each code.

4. The codes will stop when you see PCM?

5. Push and release the HI(^) button and you will see PCM DATA?

6. Push and release the LO(v) button and you will see PCM DATA?

7. Continue to push and release the LO (v) button until you see PCM CLEAR CODES?

8. Push and release the HI(^) button until you see PCM CODES CLEAR.

9. Turn OFF the ignition and wait 3 minutes and try and start the car. If the car starts and the light comes back ON, Turn OFF the car and repeat steps 1 thru 3 and let me know what codes you get and if they are HISTORY or CURRENT.

10. When you see PCM?, Turn OFF ignition key.

11. Let me know what codes you get and if they are HISTORY or CURRENT.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: this is what happen when it did what you told me what to do.
P047 History,P107 History,No IPC Code, P83 History,P137 History, A047 Current, No Sir Codes, T072 History,No Russ, PCM?
ANSWER: You did not follow the directives correctly . If you had, You would NOT have any HISTORY CODES.

Try it again and follow these directives EXACTLY:

WAIT 3 seconds and then proceed to 9.

My code is e52 and f11 what is the problem

E52=memory(history)has been resetmeaning the power to the computer
was disconnected and the driving/engine systems performance history has
been lost.

If they are ONLY displaying as F codes this means that they are HISTORY codes and if they display as FF codes then they are CURRENT codes and what we need to diagnose is ONLY the CURRENT codes.

F11 = AC high side temp circuit problem.

hope this helps good luck
